Legal consultation creates a professional responsibility and liability for professional liability insurance purposes. We also like to work with potential clients who contact us with the intention of bringing us on to fight for them.

If you would like to know how to perform a legal service on your own such as filing immigration paperwork or your own divorce, or you have an attorney, are interested in obtaining a second opinion or for the purpose of making a change and need us to review your paperwork, these would all fall under a paid consultation. As well, if you want to discuss the facts of your case and would like to know whether you have a solid legal case or not, we can also help.

Please note that we can advise how litigation or legal process works but will not provide an opinion on the merits of the case. Opinion on merits of the case requiring review of documents, evidence and facts fall in the category of paid consultation except for personal injury cases which are accepted on contingency fees basis.

In-person consultation is provided to people who live close by and need to have an attorney review the documents related to their situation (such as contracts, copy of lawsuit, copy of demand letter, etc.). Our Consulting Options

An in-person consultation with Attorney requiring document review and advice is $250. Time limit is maximum of 60 minutes.
In person consultation (no document review) is $150
Telephone consultation (15 minutes) is available for those who can provide details on the phone (by filling out consultation form) and have no documents to be reviewed. A telephonic consultation with Attorney and advice is $100.
Email consultation requiring no document review is $150. Email consultation will be provided based on facts stated in the client email and a written response shall be provided.
Email consultation requiring document review is $250. If the time anticipated is more than 60 minutes then consultation will be at $250 an hour.
Attorney reserves the right to change amount of fees charged for any kind of consultation based on facts of the case.

We offer free consultations for those who want to know our legal processes, timing, etc. For example, if you are considering filing a divorce and want to know the process or just interview the attorney to evaluate whether it is a good fit, the consultation is free. We won’t offer advise on merits of the case or advise on what documents are needed during this consultation.

Important Notes:

A consultation does not make you our client. Attorney client relationship is formed only upon signing a Fee Agreement. We accept online Visa and Master Card payments.
If you hire our services within 15 days, the full amount of your consultation fee will be credited to the final installment applied to payment for your case, if applicable.
